This post was originally written as a primer for parents on how the workers & college students use numerous “social media” instruments as part of the academic day. I’m typically asked about how we use “social media” here at PS 10. It is a query that is both quite simple & straightforward to reply and one that can be advanced and nuanced. Social media as outlined by many individuals consists of issues like Facebook and Twitter. That’s a fairly broad definition, and consists of lots of platforms not generally association with “social media” resembling wikis & blogs.
Teachers have class webpages/wikis/blogs to assist foster the house-faculty connection. These websites are nice resources for protecting all members of the category group in the loop.
